PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hello everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your summer. By the time you get this, summer will be almost over and the trapping season will be right around the corner. As we have in the years past, we will be holding a fall clinic again this year to get ready for the upcoming trapping season. This year’s fall clinic will be held at the Maumee Valley Sportsman’s Club in Malinta, OH (11-600 County Rd. L). The clinic will be Saturday, Oct. 15th at 9:30am.
This year’s agenda will consist of a couple different trap setting demos, as well as some guest speakers and expected market report. We will also be having some trap setting contests for the younger upcoming trappers, so try to bring as many young trappers as possible. Our yearly NWOFT business meeting will also take place at the clinic. Food and beverage will be available for purchase as well as various trapping supplies. We encourage as many trappers to attend as possible, members & non-members, in order to promote trapping in Northwest Ohio and continue the success of the NWOFT.
