PRESIDENT’S REPORT

The NHTA directors are in the final weeks of putting together the agenda for the fall meet. We are always interested in new and interesting ideas for demonstrations; it is not too late to contact a director with any suggestions. Several vendors will be set up to offer supplies, gear and helpful trapping related suggestions.

The two-day event will be held at the Owl Brook Hunter/Trapper Education Facility in Holderness, NH, off Perch Pond Rd for the weekend of September 17th and 18th. Doors will open at 7 am on Saturday. The gates will be open Friday afternoon for campers who wish to stay over. There is room for RVs and tents. There are no facilities or power available for camping.

The ten-gun raffle tickets have been circulated. Ask around for some or contact Steve Schlangen at 603-895-0686. They will be available Saturday at the check-in desk. Do take the time to go into the building and sign in and get a ticket for the door prize. You can also buy a meal ticket for the Saturday afternoon pig roast.

Hope to see you there. Bring along a friend, fellow trapper, non-trapping sportsman or outdoor enthusiast.

Best to all.

— Paul DeBow, Grafton County Director
