PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hi everyone, Hope all is well going through this hot summer. July 30th was our spring meeting and BBQ. We had a really good turnout and a productive meeting. By the time you read this we should have our new web site up and running so go to njfurharvesters.com and check it out. Please let me know what you think, because this is all new and everyone’s input will help to make it the best. The other thing is, we talked about a club cookbook. So I am going to need your recipes.
Email me a recipe and all your information. The rest of the details will be out at our next meeting. Our next meeting will be Sept, 24th at the Tuckerton Decoy show, it will be at the booth at 4pm. The show is over at that point and it should be no problem getting a parking spot close. Please try to make it, cause we have a lot of convention stuff to go over. Our trap committee made a lot of headway in talking about new tools we would like to use here in NJ. So we can harvest more fur. We went over trappers ED classes. If you have anyone who wants to take a class, have them check the Division web page for the classes. Don’t worry if it says full we take all walk-in’s. Forgive me if I missed anything I am sure we will go over it all at the next meeting. After the meeting, started the BBQ.
First I would like to thank Ed McCay, for hosting this event at his house, his hospitality is always first class! Then I would like to thank everyone else for coming, cause with out you things like this would not be possible. And you cant leave out the great food and laughs, the BBQ Is always a fun event for the club. Sorry to cut it short but got lots to do be for the next meeting. If you have any questions call or email me.
TIP: Well this is more of a reminder, check your waders for holes and your equipment now, our convention is right around the corner. P.S. sharpen you knife for all that fur your going to catch this season!
