SECRETARY/TREASURER’S REPORT

President Bill Howe called the meeting to order at 5:00pm Nov 17, 2013. The 50/50 was won by (who else) Les Wedge. Dick Firshing won the knife donated by Hugh McDonald and Lance Smith won the trap donated by Howe’s Trapping Supplies.

Fur auction by IFH at Pompey on Dec 21 at 8:00am. Remember the IFH coyote hunt. Another discussion on the Rendezvous date change. Dec meeting we will decide on whether to change the date or leave things alone. Just my opinion but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Come to the meeting and let your voice be heard. Hugh will do a demo in December and also bring the food. Thank you sir.

Treasurer’s report was accepted as given. Treasurer made annual report of our finances and report was accepted as written. (Always available for revue)

Les has new membership list available. Les reported on trapping class he had with Josh. They had 27 students including some Amish students. Les said he lost a dog poof trap to an energetic Raccoon that broke the trap. Discussion seemed to indicate a preference for the Alcatraz trap.

John Hahn noted that the Warner Gas Supply will be running a bus to the Harrisburg Sports Show on Feb 3rd. Give them a call if you are interested. I think it is about $40.00.

Butch reported on his two week stay in the Adirondacks. Discussion on computer course for Trapper Training. Discussed available videos and cost. Bill will look over the list and compare to his prices.

Dick Firshing discussed cable extensions

Hugh has brought the food for tonight and it certainly was welcome. Nice job Hugh. Hugh discussed his experience with a Bobcat he caught by the foot and his good time trying to let it go. Pictures included.

Motion to adjourn carried at 6:15pm.

Respectfully submitted. — Art Manz
