A Russian fisherman narrowly avoided death when a Justin Bieber song frightened an attacking brown bear.
Igor Vorozhbitsyn’s cellphone, which was set to play Bieber’s hit single “Baby” as the ringtone, rang during the attack, according to the New York Post. The bear immediately ran away.
“I couldn’t believe my luck when the phone went off and he fled,” Vorozhbitsyn told Central European News. “I know that sort of ringtone isn’t to everyone’s taste, but my granddaughter loaded it onto my phone for a joke.”
The 42 year old suffered cuts and bruises to his face and chest.
