PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Hope you all survived the financial crash. It sure didn’t help us fur harvesters no doubt. I’m not a fur buyer by any means, but I think we will see some type of fur market. I’m sure we will all know more by December or January.
I do want to mention we have a young man interested in upgrading our Web site. I have seen his work and he does an awesome job. I have no idea when we will have it up and running, but at least we have someone willing to tackle that task. I will keep you all informed on how it progresses.
The National Western Stock Show will be Jan. 10 to 25. Anyone interested in consigning fur at the Stock Show needs to contact Don Clifford at 303-775-5468. He needs to know what you will have by Jan. 1. Also, anyone interested in working the Stock Show booth needs to contact Bruce Bartow at 208-521-4235 and he will be sure to get ya set up. We really need as many people as possible to participate in this event as we can. Whether it is consigning fur or helping at the booth. It sure promotes the fur harvesters in a positive light. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best of luck with your trapping and hunting endeavors!

FUR AUCTION MANAGER’S REPORT
It was great to see everyone at the get together this fall. Someone asked my son for a hamburger when they came to our trailer to register and since then he has been selling hamburgers, fries and pops to anyone and everyone.
The fur sale is coming together nicely. We will have receiving days on the 31st of January and the 1st of February in Hugo at the Lincoln County Events Center. We’ll sale all the tanned, carcass and miscellaneous goods on the following Thursday. Raw fur will begin on Friday.
f you need any information, please call or e-mail me at a_nall@yahoo.com. We can always use help on those two days to help organize and hang fur. We can also use help during the week to finish the last of the fur that is shipped in, to assist buyers and to pack up the fur when the auction is over.
Thanks.
