MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Hello VTA Members, Well, spring is here! It is so amazing to see green grass and trees and spring flowers after our long cold winter. Hope this finds everyone well. I have not heard of how the nominations are coming along for our VTA election this year. I do hope there are nominations! As I have told you in the past, I will NOT be able to continue the job of Membership secretary. In the past 2 months I have noticed that the renewal notices from VTA members ( sent by the T&PC ) have not been coming to me. I realized that my hubby, Dickie, did not receive any renewal notices when he should have by now. I then viewed our VTA membership list and had to delete 38 members that have expired in the last 2 months. I emailed my gal and voiced my concern for a possible renewal glitch on their part, but have not heard back. Please check you expiration date on your VTA membership card and if you have not received any renewal notices from the T&PC, please contact me at ddcraig9@gmail.com or 540-430-2161. I feel there is a problem somewhere. Our membership was up to 670 before I had to do the deletions. Please try to attend our VTA Convention, being held again this year at Expo, Fishersville on July 11-13, 2014. Have a great summer. — Diana Craig
