PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Merry Christmas.
What’s everyone hoping for this year for Christmas? If you’re a dirty, rotten, low-down fur buyer like myself, maybe you might be wishing for a market for your goods. I guess we all are wishing for that, but boy what a turnaround from last year!!! I hope you are all enjoying the season regardless of what your harvest may yield.
The benefits of being active and enjoying the great outdoors is something to be thankful for. I really would encourage everyone to find a piece or two of fur to donate to our tanned fur program. We are still looking at Spring Creek Lodge near Oldham for our spring convention and the fall convention is still undecided as to the location.
Still looking for feedback from members, but seems to be very little of that coming my way.I sent the paperwork in for our participation with the South Dakota Outdoor Expo in Huron. We will be contacting and looking for volunteers for demonstrations and helpers for this event. Still working on the reciprocity for NR trapping. The issue should be resolved this next legislative session barring any unforeseen complications. Don’t know a whole lot else, just felt obligated to get something submitted for this issue.
I hope this Christmas season finds you and your loved ones in good health and good spirits. Wishing you the best, Merry Christmas.
