PRESIDENT’S REPORT

Well hello trappers, male and female and young ones. With the season just around the tree stump and across the ditch, I hope you have all the traps and gear ready for the season. Some places look good and some not so good. Look for the main things for the fur critter — food. If there is a lot around, then there will be lots of fur. And the less food, less fur. That is with all game critters.

I still have not heard a lot about the lead ban for shooting. They say target shooting we can use lead bullets. I don’t know about fur critters.

Something came up about trapping coyotes down south and moving them some place else. About all I know for now.

Trappers when you phone me PLEASE say your name slow and do the same thing with your phone number. I get a lot of calls that I cannot understand half what is being said. Need I say more. Thank you.

Later — John
