MEDIA COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Our Association held their annual Spring Rendezvous and Spring Auction March 7-9, 2014 at the Gilmer County Recreation Center in Glenville, WV. The WV Muzzleloaders also joined us and held their annual shooting matches. We had 350 consignors, and 18 buyers.
Watch for the fur prices on our website, www.wvtrappers.com. We lost one of our association members, Don Lawson. His memorial service was held March 8th, 2014 and at the time of his memorial in Berkley Springs, WV, the fur graders stopped grading fur and the whole building was quiet. Corby Patton talked about Don and his great contribution to the youth trappers education program, etc. and then they held a moment of silence in his memory.
