SECRETARY/TREASURER’S REPORT
Just a reminder the Fur Auction will be held at the Tontogany American Legion on Tontogany Rd. 3 miles north of the fairgrounds site Route 64 and 2.5 miles west on Kellogg Rd. If coming from the north I-75 to State Rt. 582 then south on Rt. 64 then west on Kellogg Rd. Coming from the south I-75 exiting on US Rt. 6 and west to State Rt. 235 go north 3 miles and then go east on Kellogg Rd.
Our storage unit we shared with a fellow club member was no longer available and we needed to find a new, more convenient place to store all the auction items needed for the auction. The board of directors decided on a 6×10 cargo trailer, which we can now store all the needed items in, and store the trailer just about anywhere a member has room.
It also allows us to only unload once and reload at close of auction. We were loading and unloading four times. We were able to purchase a used one that looks almost new for a very favorable price. Please take time to check this item out at the next fur auction on Jan. 9, 2010.
